Jonathan is a commercial lawyer with over 20 years’ experience as a Solicitor. He specialises in advising practitioners in the healthcare professions including dentists, doctors, pharmacists, opticians and also veterinary surgeons.
In the dental sector, he advises corporate dental organisations and individual dental practitioners across England and Wales on the acquisition and disposal of NHS and private practices as well as dealing with partnership agreements, expense sharing arrangements, goodwill transfers and employment issues arising therefrom.
He also advises dentists on legal issues with the NHS and Care Quality Commission.
Jonathan is also an experienced litigator and handles dispute resolution for dentists and doctors and other healthcare professionals, whether by mediation or litigation and regulatory matters concerning the General Dental Council, General Medical Council and other healthcare regulatory bodies.
Jonathan is client focused and believes that the best way to assist his clients is by meeting them at the outset in order to establish a relationship with them. His goal is always to assist his clients to achieve the vest solution with as little “discomfort and pain” as possible.
Chair of Greater Manchester Dental Advisers (GMDA) since 2011. The GMDA is a network of like-minded professionals advising dentists on accounting, financial, banking and practice matters.
